| Hi! My name is Sandra and I'd like to welcome you to my webpage! I've titled this page "Walking for a Cure," because that is what I have been doing since 2003 when I participated in my first event, the San Francisco Breast Cancer 3-Day. I walked 60-miles over three days and became hooked! |
| Since that event, I have continued my efforts to help raise funds and awareness for cancer. Breast cancer kills more than 40,000 people a year, or one every 13 minutes. 4. No one knows what causes breast cancer, or how it can be prevented, and there is no known cure. 5.
